Beautiful Tuscany

Benvenuti on the site Beautiful Tuscany! I am Dutch and I have been living in the heart of Tuscany since 2001. I have created this site because of my love of this region.

Tuscany is famous for its art cities like Florence, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo and Lucca. I would like to introduce you to a less famous area: the hilly countryside of Empolese Valdelsa, around 20 kms on the westside of Florence.

In this area you will find the following towns: Capraia en Limite , Castefiorentino, Certaldo, Cerreto Guidi, Fucecchio, Gambassi Terme, Montaione, Montespertoli, San Miniato and Vinci. It is a wonderful area where you can find ancient towns, museums, art, winebars, restaurants, many events are organized and they produce delicious Chianti and olive oil.....
